A School Empowerment workshop on English Pronunciation was held at Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Anitha P. Raj. On the 28th and 29th of May 2024. The talk was conducted by Dr. B Bhaskara Rao, who holds a Master of Education degree from Manchester, England. The objective of the talk was to enhance participants' English pronunciation skills.
Day 1:
On 28th May 2024, Mrs. Shubha Rao, Coordinator for Classes VI to VIII, hosted the event, and Jyothi Nithin welcomed everyone and introduced the guest,
Dr. B Bhaskara Rao introduced the topic and discussed the importance of proper pronunciation in effective communication. He provided an overview of basic phonetic sounds in English, focusing on both vowels and consonants. Participants engaged in exercises to practice common sounds and identify areas for improvement. Mrs. Siona delivered the vote of thanks.
Day 2:
On 29th May 2024,
Mrs. Latha R. Nayak hosted the event and welcomed the gathering. Dr. B Bhaskara Rao introduced advanced pronunciation techniques. Participants practiced their pronunciation through role-playing exercises, simulating real-life scenarios. Dr. B Bhaskara Rao answered questions from participants, providing further clarification and additional tips. Comprehensive feedback was given to each participant to help them continue their improvement journey.
