National Unity Day also called Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated on 31st October each year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the iron man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a prominent leader who played a crucial role in the unification of India after gaining independence from British colonial rule.
The Pre Primary Section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi celebrated this day with much enthusiasm and fervor. The teachers explained the importance of this day to the little students.
