On 19th August 2024, the Pre-Primary section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, celebrated Tulunada Vaibhava. The event was hosted by Pre-Primary Coordinator, Mrs. Latha R. Nayak.
The programme began with a warm welcome in Tulu, delivered by Saach Chandra Shetty of UKG-B. Principal, Mrs. Anitha P. Raj, was welcomed to the event in a traditional Tulunadu manner, with betel leaves and areca nut, symbolizing our rich cultural heritage. In her address, Mrs. Anitha P. Raj spoke about the deep cultural roots of Tulunadu and the importance of preserving these traditions for future generations.
A highlight of the event was the display of a traditional antique piece, which added to the cultural significance of the programme.
The vote of thanks was delivered by C Sudiksha of UKG-C section. Following this, the cultural programme commenced with a dance performance by the children of Sri Krishna Shishumandira LKG and UKG, showcasing the rich culture and tradition of Tulunadu. The Principal, along with the parents, witnessed the entire program.
