A good education can change anyone. A good teacher can change everything. Teachers make such a profound impact on our lives. Teachers’ Day was celebrated on September 5 in our school with pomp and grandeur. Classrooms were beautifully decorated with flowers and festoons by the students for their beloved teachers. Entertainment programs were held in the school auditorium.
The Principal of the school, Mrs Anitha P Raj inaugurated the program at 9.15 a.m. by lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The Principal gave a brief speech on Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and explained the significance of Teachers’ Day.
All the teachers were recognized and appreciated for their unwavering hard work and dedication towards the students and school. Shri N Nagaraj Ballal, the President of the institute addressed the gathering. Smt Roopa Ballal, Joint Secretory, sang a melodious song too.
Yakshaghana artist, Shri Narasimha Tunga was honoured and felicitated for his tremendous contribution to his field in this occasion. The students performed various cultural activities. Few students also delivered a beautiful speech on Teachers’ Day. The Principal appreciated the performances of the students. The program was a grand success.
