Shri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnation of Lord Vishu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon. This day indicated the beginning of hope in the older times; hope, that the malicious rule of kansa would soon end.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi on 6th August 2023 by Pre-primary section with mirth and joy. The premise was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with jhankis depicting the history of Lord Krishna. A lot of fun filled activities were conducted for kids. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating.
