The Pre-Primary Section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, celebrated Shree Krishna Janmashtami with great joy. To mark the occasion, Muddu Krishna and Muddu Radha competition was organized for the students. The events were scheduled as follows:
-21st August:Shree Krishna Shishumandira
- 23rd August:LKG
- 24th August: UKG
The children enthusiastically participated, dressed as Muddu Krishna and Muddu Radha, and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Winners were awarded certificates and prizes, while all participants received certificates as a token of appreciation.
On the 26/08/2024 Monday both teachers and students celebrated Shree Krishna Janmashtami in their respective classrooms. Teachers narrated the story of Lord Shree Krishna's birth and explained the significance of the festival. Each classroom was adorned with a cradle and the children offered flowers to the deity while singing bhajans. The students also colored pictures of Lord Krishna, and the students of UKG performed a vibrant Kunitha Bhajan.
The celebrations concluded with an exciting tiger dance performance by the A1 Tigers troupe in Vishwesha Theertha Ranga Mandira, filling the day with happiness and excitement.
