On Tuesday, 20th August 2024, the Pre-Primary section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with immense joy and enthusiasm. The teachers began by explaining the significance of the bond between brothers and sisters, sharing stories from the Mahabharata to emphasize the importance of this beautiful festival.
The children then took part in traditional rituals, where they performed aarati, applied tilaka, and tied rakhis to each other. The day was filled with smiles and laughter as the young ones embraced the spirit of Raksha Bandhan wholeheartedly.
