PLANETARIUM ORGANIZED AT VIDYODAYA PUBLIC SCHOOL

On 8th January 2023, Inauguration of star gazing was held at 4:00 p.m. in Vidyodaya Public School. The event took place in the presence of school working President Sri N. Nagaraj Ballal, School Treasurer Sri U. Padmaraj Acharya, Joint Secretary Smt. Roopa Ballal and our Principal Smt. Anitha P. Raj. Eminent Professor and Amateur Astronomer Prof. Ramesh Bhat was the guest of honour accompanied by Sri Sathish B S founder of Aryabhata Mobile Planetarium. Prof. Ramesh Bhat conducted a session on astronomy and simulation on star gazing for class IX students and parents. There was also a session of celestial gazing by Sathish B S.

On 9th and 10th January 2023 Aryabhata Mobile Planetarium team arranged "Planetarium at our School” were each and every student would be exploring planets , stars, sun, galaxies and many wonders of skies. All the students enjoyed and learnt more things related to celestial objects.

Especially for Vidyodaya Public School students and parents, school organised star gazing program in the evening from 6:30pm. All the students and parents got opportunity to see Moon craters, Mars, Jupiter and it's moons. It was a mind blowing experience for the students, teachers and parents of Vidyodaya Public School.
