On April 6, 2024, Vidyodaya Public School hosted a workshop organized by Macmillan Publishers specifically focusing on the implementation of their books within the Pre-Primary section, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
The workshop was attended by pre primary teachers and coordinated by Mrs. Latha R Nayak, from Vidyodaya Public School, Mrs Pallavi S resource person and representatives from Macmillan Publishers.
The workshop began with an overview of the key principles and objectives of the NEP and NCF, tailored to the Pre-Primary education context. Emphasis was placed on age-appropriate pedagogical approaches and learning outcomes.
Representatives from Macmillan Publishers presented their Pre-Primary book series, highlighting how the content, illustrations, and activities are designed to align with the objectives of the NEP and NCF for early childhood education.
The workshop concluded with an open discussion where participants shared their experiences, insights, and feedback on the usefulness and applicability of the resources and strategies presented.
