Under the able guidance of our Management committee members and Principal Mrs. Anitha P Raj, an Orientation Programme was organized for the parents of Pre-Primary students at Vidyodaya Pubic School auditorium on 22-05-2023 LKG,UKG and on 27-05-2023 Shri Krishna Shishumandira.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the parents. The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha P Raj, addressed the gathering. she laid stress on effective communication between the teachers & the parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the children could be provided the best for their overall development. She also gave guidelines about effective parenting. She also suggested different measures to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. In her speech, parents were told that holistic development of the children
is the main aim and objective of our school.
Mrs. Roopa Ballal, Joint secretary, Vidyodaya trust gave the parents a plethora of ideas regarding good parenting. She made the session more realistic by giving real life examples which motivated the parents and helped them to a great extent to connect to the main idea behind the orientation programme.
Pre-Primary co-ordinator Mrs. Latha R Nayak briefed about the rules and regulations of school,starting of full day session(optional),free mid-day meal facility, Free daycare facility for Shishumandira kids. Later the teachers gave an overview of important Multiple Intelligences ,phonics which is a new methodology of teaching English and the coscholastic activities which provided the parents with an assurance that our curriculum involves hands-on learning activities which not only vent their creative talents but also help in their all –round development.
The programme was concluded with vote of thanks . The programme ended on a good note with an aim of growing our children into happy, skillful, creative and well adjusted citizens.
