Vidyodaya Public School Udupi Mock Election

On March 15, 2025, the students Class V conducted a mock election at Vidyodaya Public School, providing a unique opportunity for students to understand the electoral process, develop democratic values, and encourage active participation in school activities.

The election saw enthusiastic participation from all Class V students, who took on roles as candidates, election officers, and voters. Three students, Akshaj Dinesh, Manasa Kalkura, and Medansh, contested for the leadership position, creating posters, slogans, and delivering speeches to present their ideas.

A voting booth was set up, and students were instructed on how to use the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). A total of 128 students cast their votes, and Akshaj Dinesh emerged as the winner with the highest number of votes.

The event concluded with a congratulatory ceremony, where Principal Mrs. Anitha P Raj applauded the efforts of students and teachers. Anika served as the Master of Ceremony, Lochan Gowda delivered the Welcome Speech, and Sughosha presented the vote of thanks.

The mock election was a resounding success, serving as a valuable learning experience for the Class V students.
