On January 9, 2025, and January 10, 2025, the Department of Community Medicine, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, conducted a comprehensive medical check-up for students from Class I to Class X at Vidyodaya Public School, as part of their School Health Service initiative. The check-up was a thorough one, covering a general health examination, vision test, and dental check-up, to ensure that the students were in good physical and mental health. A team of nearly 20 doctors, comprising of specialists and general practitioners, initiated and carried out the program with utmost dedication and professionalism. The medical team worked over the two-day period, examining each student and providing personalized advice and guidance on maintaining good health and hygiene. The medical check-up was a huge success, with the entire process being completed smoothly and efficiently over the two-day period. The Principal, teachers and staff members appreciated the efforts of the medical team and the School Health Service of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, for organizing such a valuable and informative program.
