Independene Day Celebrations

On the eve of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi celebrated the event with full of spirit and patriotism on 13th, 14th & 15th of August 2022. To deepen the connect with our national flag and as a part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Movement’ the flag was hoisted on all the three days. The patriotic fervour could be strongly felt as the students participated in the Prabhath Pheri. The slogan Vande Mataram, Bharath Mata ki Jai was echoing and filled our hearts with a strong sense of belonging towards our motherland - India.
On 15th August 2022 Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism in Vidyodaya Public School. Prof. H. Krishna Bhat was the guest of honour and he addressed the gathering with his life experience. The event took place in the presence of our school secretary Mr.Ganesh Rao, Principal of Vidyodaya Public School Mrs. Anitha P. Raj, Headmistress of Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School
Mrs.Sandhya Karnad, teaching and non - teaching faculties. All the students from Pre-Primary to Class X were present. Parents also witness the occasion. The event M.C. was conducted by Ms. Madhurya Siri S. Head Girl of Vidyodaya Public School, Ms. Madhuri of Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School welcomed the gathering and vote of thanks was proposed by
Ms.Poorvi of Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School. Significance of Independence day was proposed by Mst. Avanish Kulal of Vidyodaya Public School and Ms. Vafha of Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School.
Prayer, Flag song and National Anthem was sung by the students of Vidyodaya Public School & Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School. It was a well planned and executed event.
