The Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolizes the celebration of wonderful years of freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country. India's 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Vidyodaya Public School.
The ceremony started at 9 AM in the school open auditorium with large crowd of staff,students and parents.
The NCC cadets welcomed the chief guest.
Prof. S Anantha Padhmanabha bhat who unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
A beautiful momento was presented as a token of gratitude to Prof.A.P.Bhat by the management committee.
Students of Vidyodaya Public School and Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School conducted the stage programmes by singing Patriotic songs and gave speeches on the freedom fighters who played an important in Indian independence and how has been a progressive country post Independence.
A special mention to the PT teachers, Manu sir and Ganesh sir for the beautiful rangoli and decoration of the flag pole.
The program culminated and inspiring speech by the chief guest and a Vote of Thanks. At the end sweets were distributed to the students. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
