
On Friday, January 24th 2025, the ICSE council, through Convenor school Principal Mr. Sharan Siddhivinayaka School Hattiangadi, hosted a virtual orientation meeting to discuss the conduct of the ICSE Year 2025 Examination.
Principal Mrs. Anitha. P. Raj, Chief Examiners Mrs. Shubha Rao and Mr. Ganesh Somayaji represented Vidyodaya Public School at the meeting. Prior to the commencement of the online session, each participant took a moment to introduce themselves, fostering a sense of community and setting the tone for a productive and collaborative discussion. The online session which began at 11.00 AM outlined rules, guidelines and new features for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming examination. Convenor duties, Chief Examiner responsibilities and other crucial aspects were clearly explained. A Total of 15 Schools participated in the ICSE orientation session with Principals and Chief examiners, in attendance to discuss and familiarize themselves with the guidelines and procures for the ICSE year 2024-25 Examination. Later subsequent meeting was scheduled for Chief Examiners and Invigilators to discuss on examination procedures, ensuring a successful conduct of the ICSE year 2025 examination.
Key takeaways from this meeting colour-coded question paper packs change daily. Recording of the CCTV cameras of each day's examination should be preserved till the declaration of results. The Head of the examination centre school will be required to produce the recording when asked for by ICSE. Refrain from walking in the exam hall unless absolutely necessary to attend to candidate’s needs. No staff member or teacher of the Examination centre should be allowed in the examination hall during the examination. Mandatory photo documentation and upload at every stage, enhanced security measures for the smooth and transparent examination process.
Following a question-answer session, the meeting concluded at 1.30 PM. Before returning with valuable insights and information to conduct the board exams, scheduled to commence on February 18th.
