As the importance of early childhood education continues to be recognized, nursery teachers are at the forefront of shaping young minds. To ensure that these teachers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to support children's development, a workshop was conducted for nursery teachers in Vidyodaya Public School on 3rd April 2023.
Ms. Pallavi, resource person from Macmillan Education covered a range of topics, including child development, classroom management, and curriculum planning. The program began with a session on child development, where teachers learned about the different stages of cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development in young children to understand the needs of each child and tailor their teaching approach accordingly. This session included practical exercises in creating lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play.
