After the manifesto on 24th March, 2023 Vidyodaya Public School held the Election the next day, on 25th March, 2023 at the school’s open auditorium. Objectives behind the election were:
Involve students in democratic processes and decisions making within the school.
Demonstrate the importance of representation and active involvement in the school community.
Develop student leadership and communication skills.
Give a forum for the presentation of student ideas and opinions on school policies that directly impact students.
Improve the school community by addressing student issues and concerns.
The students of classes IX and X casted their valuable votes to their desired candidates for various posts with great enthusiasm and vigor. 24 ballot boxes were placed, one for each post. Teachers guided the students during the process. Students were also inked on their finger upon casting their vote in the polling booth. Thus they learn the importance of responsible voting. The results of the polling will be announced on 8th April, 2023.
