India's Constitution was adopted on November 26th 1949, and came into effect on January 26 th ,1950. Government of India in 2015 decided to observe 26th November as 'Constitution Day' or 'Samvidhan Divas' to promote constitutional values amongst citizens.
The Constitution Day was celebrated in our school on 26th November, 2024 to create awareness on the Indian Constitution. The programme commenced with a Prayer by the school choir. Our Principal Smt.Anitha P.Raj enlightened the students about Indian Constitution and the significance of the day was explained by Smt.Saku ,High School Co-ordinator
The oath was administered by Smt.Saku ,High School Co-ordinator and Smt.Shubha, Middle School Co-ordinator and the students participated enthusiastically in the oath- taking process.
The programme culminated with a sense of patriotism and an awareness to abide by the Constitution of our Nation.
