Raksha Bandhan, also known as Rakhi, is a popular Hindu festival that celebrates the bond between brother and sister. The festival holds great significance in Indian culture and is celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm. One of the earliest reference to raksha bandhan can be found in the Mahabharata, where Draupadi tied a rakhi to Lord Krishna.
On 31st August 2023 Thursday Pre-primary section teachers and students of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi celebrated Raksha Bandhan by conducting various activities and arathi ritual was performed followed by tying rakhi to each other.
