Bunnies Shine at Eco-Friendly Ganapati Clay Idol Competition


Vidyodaya Public School Udupi

The competition, which was organized by the Bharat Scouts and Guides Karnataka District Organization in Udupi, saw participation from the Bunnies of the school, who took home three prestigious prizes.


Held on September 6, 2024, at Udupi Christian High School, the competition aimed to promote eco-friendly practices during Ganesh Chaturthi by encouraging students to design Ganesha idols from natural clay. Among the winners were:


Brahmari Rao, secured the first place

Bhakti Bairi, secured second place

Nihan Devadiga, secured the third place


The award ceremony took place on September 9, 2024, at Rajangana, Sri Krishna Matha, udupi where the revered Sri Sri Sugunendratheertha Swamiji of Paryaya Puttige Matha presented the winners with their prizes. The event was graced by several notable dignitaries, including District Chief Commissioner Sri Jayakara Shetty Indrali and State Assistant Organization Commissioner Smt. Sumana Shekhar.
