On 10th & 11th of March , 2023 Vidyodaya public school organized a training session for the parents of students studying in standard IX and X on parenting by Mr.Subhash Bangera , Entrepreneur and a soft skill facilitator who spoke on the topic -“BE THE CATALYST” which included topics like Parenting mistakes- comparing, trying to fulfill our dreams through them, Empathy ,Improving listening skills ,Stop to assume things ,Positive re-enforcement,Improve the nature of the child, nurture the child and also provide good culture,Pampering etc. He also conducted activities that showcased a kid throwing tantrums and how the parent has handle such situations. He also conducted activities that included parents and teachers to understand the bond that they need to maintain . Mr. Subhash Bangera was honoured by a token of affection and gratitude by the President of Vidyodaya Public School Shri. N Nagaraj Ballal.
The second half of the session was the Orientation programme By the teachers which included the topics like Brief history of the school ,Management committee,Rules and regulations of the ICSE and school ,Scholastic and non scholastic activities ,Number of periods per week, Tentative exam timetable, Registration process for ICSE, The documents needed for the registration ,Selection of optional as well as second language that gave a brief idea that the child or ward would be following in this academic year .
