November 20th & 21st, 2024, marked a memorable days for Vidyodaya Public School as it celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was graced by His Divine Holiness Sri Sri Sri Vishwa Prasanna Theertha Swamiji, Chief Guest Dr. Satish Kumar, members of the management, and heads of the institution, including Principal Mrs. Anitha P Raj.
The highlight of the event was the inauguration of the newly constructed Children's Park, Anantheshwara Society, and Dining Hall by His Divine Holiness
Sri Sri Sri Vishwa Prasanna Theertha Swamiji. The Annual Day celebration also witnessed the felicitation of School Secretary Sri K Ganesh Rao, who was honored with the prestigious Yaksha Chetana Award. Meritorious students were also awarded certificates for their outstanding achievements.
A donation from the Tulu Nada Vaibhava Food Festival was handed over to Swamiji for the welfare of Neelavara Ghoshala. The Chief Guest, Dr. Satish Kumar, addressed the gathering with a thought-provoking speech. He shared his real-life experiences and highlighted the differences in parenting styles across various generations. Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of understanding and adapting to the unique needs of children in today's world. He offered valuable insights on how to effectively deal with children, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages their growth and development.
With great enthusiasm and dedication, students of Class I to Class V presented a variety of performances that included dance, music, drama, and more. The students mesmerized with their outstanding performances, showcasing their talents in various cultural programme. The vibrant showcase included mythological and historical stories, enthralling enactments of historical events and biopics, captivating performances that highlighted the rich cultural heritage of our culture and tradition. The young performers' energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to their craft were evident throughout the program, leaving the audience in awe of their talent.
The event highlighted the creativity and hard work of the students, as they proudly demonstrated the results of their practice and passion. This celebration not only provided a platform for the students to express themselves but also fostered a sense of unity and school spirit among them.
