
The 7The 76th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at Vidyodaya Public School on January 26, 2025. The event was a grand success, with students from Vidyodaya Public School and Anantheshwara English Medium High School coming together to commemorate the nation's sovereignty. The program began at 8:45 a.m. with a prayer, and was expertly hosted by the Masters of Ceremony, Master S V Hariharasudhan and Anvesh Salian of Vidyodaya Public School. The welcome address was delivered by Miss Apeksha H Pai of Vidyodaya Public School.
The chief guest, Mrs. Roopa Ballal, Joint Secretary of Vidyodaya Trust, was accompanied by other dignitaries, including L Seetharama Bhat, Retired Head Master of Sri M M H P School, Neelavara, Sri. N. Nagaraj Ballal, School President, Sri K. Ganesh Rao, School Secretary, Sri U Padmaraj Acharya, School Treasurer, Mrs Anitha P. Raj, Principal of Vidyodaya Public School, Smt. Sandhya Karnad, Headmistress of Sri Anantheshwara English Medium High School, and Dr. Ananya G Rao, Alumni of Vidyodaya Public School.
Together, they unfurled the national flag, marking the beginning of the celebration. L Seetharama Bhat honoured our Student Miss Aadhya who helped him when he met with an accident and provided first aid, and Mrs. Roopa Ballal addressed the gathering with her inspiring words.
The students showcased their discipline and coordination through an impressive march past with the rhythm of our School band, led by the NCC Battalion, Scout and Guides, and students of Vidyodaya Public School and Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School. Cubs, Bulbuls, and Bunnies also witnessed the event. The school choir performed a medley of national songs, including the National Anthem and flag song, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervor.
The event also featured stirring speeches by students Miss Bhoomika Nesargi of Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School and Miss Khyathi Bhat of Vidyodaya Public School, who highlighted the importance of unity, diversity, and national pride. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Shrestha K of Shri Anantheshwara Eng. Med. High School. To mark the occasion, sweets were distributed to all attendees, making the day even more special and memorable. The 76th Republic Day celebration at Vidyodaya Public School was a resounding success, and the students, teachers, and staff came together to make it a day to remember.
